Welcome to the Home Page of Newtown Musical Theatre Company.

We are an amateur musical theatre company based in Newtown, Powys, Mid Wales.

We have been staging productions in Newtown since 1983, and currently stage two productions a year, at Theatr Hafren, ranging from popular musicals such as Oliver! and My Fair Lady to Gilbert and Sullivan operettas and compilation shows.

'The Musical Lorna Doone' by Kat Bond.

We will be performing the world premiere of this new show by Kat Bond on the 8th and 9th October 2010 at Theatr Hafren, Newtown. Tickets are on sale now, and are available by phoning the Theatr Hafren box office on (01686) 625007, or you can buy them online.
